When the war is over…………………..

ROME — The Italian foreign minister says Rome will work with NATO and Italy’s allies to try to set a date to end military operations in Libya.

Italy recently stepped up its role in the NATO mission, letting its fighter jets join bombing operations over the country. However, Premier Berlusconi’s main government partner, the Northern League, strongly opposes the bombings, fearing they will trigger an even bigger exodus of refugees from Libya.

Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said Italy will work to set an end date for the mission. He spoke to reporters Tuesday, a day ahead of parliamentary voting on Italy’s role.

NATO has vowed that its warplanes will keep up the pressure on Libya’s regime for as long as it takes to end the violence in Libya

When you know, let us know – please, Italy
